Hey Colorado, don't you know me. I'm your native son.
A third generation Denver native, in his 20's Tony began his career as an illustrator and then a professional watercolor artist. At age forty-five he set out to do an art poster painting of 'Opening Night at Invesco Field' 9.10.2001 Denver vs. New York. Tony rented a professional panoramic camera to set up the shots, but the events of the following day (9.11) made the photos more meaningful than a painting would be.
The Denver Broncos used one of the photos for a 30x10 foot mural in the Dove Valley lobby. A similar photo was used as a poster and became their top selling poster until it's sellout in 2006. For Tony it would become the start of his Photographic career.
